Suggested Reading

Every now and then, I'll be posting a Suggested Reading Book on the blog. One of my all-time favorites and a book that I would recommend for anyone is Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume. You can't go wrong with any book by Judy Blume, but this book is a great introduction to a lot of really interesting characters. If you end up liking the characters in this story, you'll be glad to hear that there are lots of other books with the same characters. If you're looking for a funny book with characters that you can relate to, definitely give this one a try. We have one copy here at the OTES library if anyone wants to check it out.

A Magical Summer of Learning

This summer you will be collecting magical items. Each week that you earn at least 10 points on your assignments you'll collect a new magical item.

PRIZES:

Level 1 (Hat) - VSS Certificate

Level 2 (Cauldron) - Invitation to a Pizza Party!

Level 3 (Crystal Ball) - One entry into a drawing for extra recess for your class

Level 4 (Wand) - One entry into a drawing for a popcorn party for your class
