WRITING IDEA #16
An acrostic poem is very easy to write.  It can be about any subject.  You start by putting the letters that spell your subject down the side of your page.  Then you go back to each letter and think of a word, phrase, or sentence that starts with the letter and describes your subject.  For example, an acrostic poem about the sun could look like this:

Shines brightly
Up in the sky
Nice and warm on my skin

Create a Google Doc titled "Summer Acrostic" and write your own acrostic poem using the word SUMMER.  For more of a challenge, create a Google Presentation and have each slide be a different acrostic poem about summer things (Sun, Beach, Ice Cream, Swimming, etc...).
