Week 2 Assignments

Below are your Week 2 assignments that are due on July 7th.

COMPASS LEARNING
The VSS folders are now posted for Week 2.  You may notice that there are not as many math activities as last week.  This is because I know a lot of people may be traveling or doing some other fun stuff during the 4th of July week.

READING
We've done a fantastic job submitting books on the reading tracker.  There were 100 books submitted just in the first few days of week 1.  I'll update the rest of the total throughout the week.

New reading passages for each grade level are also posted.

WRITING
***Week 2 Prompt*** Write a letter to Dr. Tuell (or Mrs. Leonard for VRS or AES students) explaining why students should have a longer recess.

Grade 2 Expectations - Make sure your letter includes reasons why a longer recess is a good thing so that you can convince Dr. Tuell to agree with you.

Grade 3 Expectations - Your letter should have at least 2-3 reasons to support your opinion of a longer recess.

Grade 4 and 5 Expectations - Your letter should have at least 3-4 reasons, with each reason being its own paragraph with supporting details.
