Week 1 Assignments Are Posted

The Pre-Summer assignments were due yesterday, and this morning the Week 1 assignments were posted to Google Classroom for students to view and begin. The bonus points this week will be for the Scholastic Reading Challenge. Students who submit at least 60 minutes of reading between today and next Monday will earn 40 points instead of the normal 25!

The OTES library/lab is open Tuesday and Thursday this week from 9:00-12:00.

Assignments will be graded over the next day or two and points will be posted to Google Classrooms soon. I'll also announce the students who will be moving up to Step 1 on the ladder (and it looks like there will be a lot!)

Due Date for Week 1 assignments - July 6th!

A Magical Summer of Learning

This summer you will be collecting magical items. Each week that you earn at least 10 points on your assignments you'll collect a new magical item.

PRIZES:

Level 1 (Hat) - VSS Certificate

Level 2 (Cauldron) - Invitation to a Pizza Party!

Level 3 (Crystal Ball) - One entry into a drawing for extra recess for your class

Level 4 (Wand) - One entry into a drawing for a popcorn party for your class

Level 5 (Broomstick) - One entry into a drawing for one of the GRAND PRIZES (Dairy Queen gift cards, Sweet Frog gift cards, $25 Amazon gift cards, Chromebook laptops)!!!

If you are able to earn at least 10 points for all 6 weeks, you'll earn another entry into the grade prize drawing!
