Here are your assignments for Week 3 (Due July 14)...

COMPASS LEARNING
Week 3 assignments are posted in Compass Learning. Be sure to look for the VSS folder and make sure it says Week 3.

READING
New reading passages are now posted for each grade level. I will work today on updating the Reading Tracker totals as well.

WRITING
***Prompt - Tell Me About Your 4th of July

This one is pretty basic for all grade levels. Tell me how you spent your 4th of July holiday last week. Did you go somewhere special? Who was there with you? Give me as many details as you can. Students with Google Docs accounts need to make sure this document goes into their VSS folder so that I can see it.

A Magical Summer of Learning

This summer you will be collecting magical items. Each week that you earn at least 10 points on your assignments you'll collect a new magical item.

PRIZES:

Level 1 (Hat) - VSS Certificate

Level 2 (Cauldron) - Invitation to a Pizza Party!

Level 3 (Crystal Ball) - One entry into a drawing for extra recess for your class

Level 4 (Wand) - One entry into a drawing for a popcorn party for your class

Level 5 (Broomstick) - One entry into a drawing for one of the GRAND PRIZES (Dairy Queen gift cards, Sweet Frog gift cards, $25 Amazon gift cards, Chromebook laptops)!!!

If you are able to earn at least 10 points for all 6 weeks, you'll earn another entry into the grade prize drawing!
